The metal core inside gives it just the right amount of rigidity without that cold, unyielding feel of a pure steel ring. I sized down from my usual 45mm and the 43mm fits snug but still comfortable after a solid hour of wear. The open-sided sheath design keeps things secure while letting me adjust
Slipped it on warm and the silicone felt almost silky against the skin—the open-sided design means you get that solid steel weight without any pinching. Stayed put during use and came off just as easily when I needed it to.
